WATCH THE PHOTO DIRECTION TEST
Coloring Page Maker Photo Orientation Test
Watch how two JPGs with identical stored pixels and different direction tags become landscape and portrait coloring pages.
What the two runs show
The tool reported 600 × 400 pixels for Orientation 1 and 400 × 600 for Orientation 6. With Clean Outline and A4, the saved PNGs measured 3,508 × 2,480 and 2,480 × 3,508 pixels respectively. The second fixture deliberately turns the house sideways, showing that paper direction does not correct the subject's direction.
These are two controlled drawings in one Chrome browser. Other metadata values, phone files and printers were not tested.
